Group Sessions

Aside from individual presentations, the Center for Student Success offers a variety of group sessions. These sessions include but are not limited to:

Workshops With Athletic Teams and Classes

AU athletic teams and classes visit the Center for Student Success to learn more about Career Services and the services offered. These sessions are led by Tory or Penny and include interactive activities to get students thinking about their career path.

Conversations With Employers

Career Services often brings employers to campus to present on their organization, tips for success, and job openings. Some employers that have visited AU are the U.S. Army, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Sundays @ 7

Every Sunday at 7 p.m. a one-hour career conversation takes place via Zoom. For 45 minutes, an AU alum talks about their career journey and shares advice with current students. The last 15 minutes you have the opportunity to ask questions.

Career Services Presentations

You will receive an email to your AU address notifying you anytime Career Services will be presenting on job search, resumes, cover letters, Handshake, etc.
